The trial of the January 2015 attacks was suspended Wednesday, October 28 by the special assize court in Paris until Thursday morning, so that the main accused, vomiting, could see a doctor.

Ali Riza Polat is "

ill and is not in a state to appear,

" announced the president of the court Régis de Jorna, before suspending the hearing until Thursday at 9:30 am.

According to Mr. Polat's lawyers, he vomited during the meridian suspension.

Ali Riza Polat was "

sent back to the remand center to be examined by a doctor,

" said the president of the court.

Presented by investigators as the “

right hand

” of Amédy Coulibaly, Ali Riza Polat is the only one of the accused present to appear for “

complicity

” in terrorist crimes, punishable by life imprisonment.

He was questioned for two days on the facts, Monday and Tuesday, in a sometimes stormy atmosphere.

The court was to hear the last witnesses on Wednesday afternoon, before the pleadings of the civil party lawyers began Thursday morning.
