A manslaughter case was suspected in Kwai Chung Hospital in November of the previous year. The 41-year-old male patient was injured after being pushed by a 35-year-old unemployed man. He was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital and died shortly afterwards.
The unemployed man was charged with manslaughter yesterday and was sent to the West Kowloon Court today (28th).
He does not need to reply for the time being. The case will be handled by the High Court. The magistrate adjourned the case until December 7 and proceeded with the delivery procedure in the Eastern District Court.
The defendant was released on bail of 10,000 yuan. During this period, he was not allowed to leave the country or contact witnesses of the prosecution, and he was required to report to the police station regularly.
Defendant Zhang Zeming (35 years old, reported unemployed) was charged with illegally killing Zheng Xueyun (41 years old) in Hong Kong on November 5, 2018.
The prosecution does not object to the defendant's bail.
The defendant was released on bail of 10,000 yuan. During this period, he was not allowed to leave the country or contact the witnesses of the prosecution. He must report to the police station once a week. If he changes his address, he must notify the police 24 hours in advance.
