The mayor of Lyon Grégory Doucet announced Wednesday the cancellation of the traditional Festival of Lights that he still hoped to keep in a small format, due to the continued deterioration of the health situation.

We are abandoning the 2020 edition of the Festival of Lights,
” announced Grégory Doucet on France 3. “
Obviously, we must keep it right and we know that we will not be able to organize it
”.

The elected ecologist still hoped to organize this event, scheduled for December 4 to 8,
