Tonight (Wednesday), French President Emmanuel Macron announced another national closure that will begin this coming Friday, with the aim of halting the renewed outbreak of the corona virus in the country.
The new measures announced include the closure of all trade and services, in addition to purchasing food and essentials or receiving medical treatment.
In addition, people will still be allowed to go to work if their employer decides they cannot perform the work from home.
Unlike the previous closure, most schools will remain open.
"The virus is spreading at a rate that not even the most pessimistic forecasts expected," Macron said.
"Like all our neighbors, we are immersed in the sudden outbreak of the virus."
