This is obviously going to be extremely difficult for them.
Businesses are in a more fragile situation than in the spring.
Economically, this will not translate as much as it did last spring: at the turn of March-April, private sector GDP was 50% of its usual level.
Less strict containment will prevent this from happening.
But the impact on unemployment and bankruptcies will be greater.
Simply because companies are less resilient.
Today florists, clothing stores or even restaurants do not survive a four-week confinement.
Allowing the construction industry or industry to work is essential, as health protocols are very strict.
So the companies would not hold out despite state aid?
Support systems operate at diminishing returns.
