The Palestinian Presidency affirmed that the United States' continued support for the unlimited occupation of settlement plans in the occupied Palestinian territories is a dedication to its violation of international legitimacy resolutions that demand a halt to settlement operations.
Presidential Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh stressed in a statement today reported by Wafa that the US administration's increasing support for Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories is an illegal, unacceptable and condemnable move that cannot be tolerated.
Abu Rudeineh clarified that this step amounts to actual American participation in the occupation of the Palestinian territories and a dedication to the US administration’s policy in violating international law and international legitimacy decisions that affirm the illegality of settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.
