On Wednesday (28th) Japan's Toyota Motor Factory announced the expansion of the global recycling of electric oil pumps, affecting approximately 5.84 million vehicles, involving a variety of models including Lexus, Highlander, Camry and Corolla. The manufacturing date is from July 2017 to September this year.

Toyota said that the faulty electric oil pump may stop operating while driving, causing the engine to automatically stop and fail to restart, stressing that the dealer will replace the improved electric oil pump.

The year and models of the vehicles involved include:



2013-2015 Lexus LS 460 and GS 350

2017-2019 Toyota Highlander

2017-2020 Toyota Sienna and Lexus RX 350

2018-2020 Toyota Avalon, Camry, Corolla, Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra

2019-2020 Toyota RAV4
