Two police officers allegedly involved in the death of Javier Ordóñez on September 9 in Bogotá, and who are detained, dismissed and disqualified from holding public office for 20 years, the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation reported in a statement .
According to the text, the sanction is given for being considered responsible for "two very serious offenses" for having allegedly incurred the crimes of "abuse of authority by arbitrary and unjust act and murder of Ordóñez" at dawn on September 9 last, in the Immediate Attention Center in the Villa Luz neighborhood, in the northwest of Bogotá.
“The control body established that the police procedure in which citizen Ordóñez Bermúdez received multiple electric shocks did not occur in the way that the uniformed officers reported, since the videos of the security cameras of the place show that the intervention of the disciplined did not It was due to an attempt to dissolve a fight, but on the contrary there was a physical confrontation where the patrolman Lloreda Cubillos used the taser on repeated occasions against the humanity of Ordóñez Bermúdez, ”explained the Attorney General's Office.
The ruling, announced on Tuesday, was appealed by both agents, according to the Attorney General's Office.

Ordóñez, who was 43 years old, died after police officers detained him and subdued him on the ground, using stun guns.
In a video that went viral on social networks, it was seen that they asked him to put his hands behind his back, while he asked several times "please" to stop.
In September, protests against police brutality broke out in Colombia.
During the demonstrations, at least 13 people died, according to Colombian authorities.
The fact continues to be investigated by the Colombian prosecutor's office.
Both agents are accused of the crimes of "torture and aggravated homicide."
