U.S. Report: Government Purchases Services in Millions of Trump's Businesses
The Washington Post reported that a sum of about $ 2.5 million was taken out of the U.S. taxpayer's coffers, among other things, to host foreign leaders at Trump-owned resorts.
There is no prohibition on companies owned by the president receiving money from the administration, but this is a violation of election promises.

The US administration has paid millions of dollars to businesses owned by US President Donald Trump - it was reported tonight (Wednesday) in the Washington Post.
According to agreements obtained by the newspaper, $ 2.5 million was taken out of the administration's coffers, and the expenses included, among other things, hotel accommodation, food, alcohol and flower arrangements at Trump-owned resorts.
According to the report, the president's hospitality business, including the resort in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, sometimes charged higher-than-usual prices for their services.
On one occasion, the administration was charged $ 7,700 for a dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping and his staff.
The administration also charged $ 17,000 a month for a private residence rented for the Secret Service at the Trump National Golf Club in Deminster, and even $ 3 for glasses of water to former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Trump himself.
The paper reported that some government employees were frustrated by these visits to Trump's resort properties, arguing in private discussions among themselves that the expensive hotels were not suitable for this type of stay and less private than elsewhere.

In addition to government money, Trump's companies received about $ 5 million in Republican events.
However, there is no ban on Trump-owned companies receiving payments from the US administration, but the act constitutes a breach of promise from the 2016 election campaign in which he promised to isolate himself from his business if elected to office, and put the interests of his constituents above his own.
"If I win, I may never see my property - I will never see those places again," Trump said at the time of the campaign.
"Because I will work for you, I will not be able to play golf. Believe me."
Trump still owns his business, but he says he gives daily control to his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
There is no official total amount that combines how much the American taxpayer has paid to the president's business since taking office.
The company and the Trump campaign declined to comment on a report in the Washington Post.
The White House called the report an "attack," but it did not deny any of the allegations.
