About 100 business owners and shops in south Tel Aviv are now protesting (Thursday) on Jaffa Street in the city against the continued restrictions on trading activities as part of the fight against the corona virus, against the background of a meeting of the Corona Cabinet held today in Jerusalem.

The protesters are demanding that the government allow them to operate their businesses under the purple mark.

"Our demand is simple - open the street shops, we are safe," said Ilan Dayan, a fashion manufacturer participating in the demonstration.

"Let us open up, we want to make a living. Shame on the State of Israel for bringing us into this situation. We are law-abiding and you brought us to be criminals."

Oded Babai, a clothing store owner, attacked the health minister and the prime minister, saying they were cut off from the people.

"We are the common people, Mr. Edelstein is already settled, he is married to the daughter of an oligarch," he said.

"We street shops are hungry for bread, this conduct is not possible, this is the conduct of thugs."

He added that "they take care of their friends' sector. We will not be their sucker, the burning tire is their lobbyist. The tycoons have lobbyists in the Knesset we have lobbyists. Mr. Ganz, stop being a child, you are going to be a director soon, you have abandoned us and we will remember you "I want to tell Bibi to meet in the election."
