The table has been published since May by a consulting firm, based on the image of each president in his province.

With Horacio Rodríguez Larreta consolidated as the

governor with the best image in

the country, for the second month in a row, the news in the ranking of leaders published by Clarín since May once again touched the two poles of the table: on the one hand, there is a

new bodyguard

from the head of the Buenos Aires government;

and, on the other,

a leader of Peronism

debuts in the background

.

The survey is carried out by

CB Consultora Opinion Pública

, which in October surveyed

between 500 and 1,250 cases

per province.

It is the same firm that measured Larreta for the first time throughout the country and compared their numbers with those of Alberto Fernández, Cristina Kirchner and Mauricio Macri.

Clarín

advanced those figures exclusively last week.

With the head of the City Government there is a particularity: although he was one of the nine governors (out of 24) who saw his positive image drop in the last month, he was able to continue leading.

Larreta was left with 67.3%

in his favor (in September he had 68.4%) and is part of the trio that the consulting firm qualifies as "outstanding."

President Alberto Fernández received the governors and the head of the City Government within a week of taking office.

Statistical clarification:

CB

measures what is known as the

net image

, where the positive and negative add up to 100%.

By not taking into account those who do not answer and since there are no intermediate variables such as "regular image", the numbers are usually higher than in other surveys.

Thus, the other two governors who complete the podium with a number above 65 points are Sergio Uñac (66.9%) and Oscar Ahuad (65.4%).

The

Peronist from San Juan

is Larreta's new escort while the missionary, from the Renovador Front of his province, remains in the top positions.

In August it had been at the top.

The lower part of the table, meanwhile, is made up of governors with less than 45 positive points.

They are four.

Three are already habitual

of this ranking: Mariano Arcioni, the massista from Chubut, is

23rd

with 42.1%;

Gerardo Morales, the Jujuy radical, was

22nd

with 42.3%;

and Alicia Kirchner, a Christian from Santa Cruz,

21st

with 44.8%.

The one who gave the surprise (for the worse) was the Riojan Peronist Ricardo Quintela, who appears

24th

and last with only 41.9%.

Since September, his district has been complicated by the coronavirus pandemic and

lost almost 10

weighting

points

in favor.

The one who

fails to rebound

, although he does not fall abruptly, is Axel Kicillof.

The governor of the province of Buenos Aires finished

14th

in October

, with 53.9% positive image.

It improved 3.7 points compared to September.

When the ranking started in May, it was 13th.

The rest of the table?

4th) Gustavo Valdés (UCR, Corrientes): 64.3%.

5th) Gildo Insfrán (PJ, Formosa): 64.1%.

6th) Rodolfo Suarez (UCR, Mendoza): 63.9%.

7th) Sergio Ziliotto (PJ, La Pampa): 62.8%.

8th) Omar Gutiérrez (MPN, Neuquén): 60.1%.

9th) Gerardo Zamora (UCR K, Santiago del Estero): 59.5%.

10th) Juan Manzur (PJ, Tucumán): 56.6%.

11th) Gustavo Bordet (PJ, Entre Ríos): 56.3%.

The governor of La Rioja, Ricardo Quintela, during an announcement linked to the Covid.

He is last in the governors' image table.

12th) Gustavo Sáenz (PJ, Salta): 54.5%.

13th) Juan Schiaretti (P, Córdoba): 54.3%.

15th) Jorge Capitanich (PJ, Chaco): 52.2%.

16th) Raúl Jalil (PJ, Catamarca): 50.4%.

17th) Omar Perotti (PJ, Santa Fe): 49.7%.

18th) Alberto Rodríguez Saá (PJ, San Luis): 48.5%.

19 °) Gustavo Melella (UCR K, Tierra del Fuego): 48%.

20th) Arabela Carreras (Independent, Río Negro): 46.1%.

As can be seen, in addition to Kicillof, the rest of the

governors of the largest provinces

(with the exception of Larreta)

do not fight for the top positions

.

The best is the Mendoza Suarez, who led the ranking months ago, but was another president with problems with Covid and even publicly faced the national government.

Now it fell to sixth place;

while Schiaretti, Perotti and Bordet do not even enter the top ten.
