Fernando Iglesias harshly criticized the Government for the alleged discretion with which it handles public accounts.
"They even manage the Pope,
and today they will have a Budget," said the PRO deputy, in the middle of a marathon session in the upper house.
After about 10 hours of debate in Congress, Iglesias took the floor to show his disagreement with the management of the Budget and to criticize the government headed by Alberto Fernández.
"They manage the Executive Power, the Chamber of Deputies, the Senate, almost all the provinces, almost all the media, the CGT, the neighborhood leaders, the piqueteros. They
even manage the Pope. And today they will have a budget
because they will have the votes ", lamented the legislator.

"Furthermore," Iglesias added, "they can change whatever they want with
that indecent decree
that allows the Chief of Staff to do whatever he wants with the games."
The decree to which it refers is 457/2020, published on May 11.
Through this text, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the President removed the limits of the Chief of Staff to reallocate items for up to 5 percent of the Budget.
According to the opposition, this decree gives
Santiago Cafiero
superpowers
to manage public funds, without the mediation of Parliament.
Later, Iglesias continued fiercely: "Govern, stop dealing with Cristina's impunity and blaming others. Officials, function. President, preside. Take charge, solve something because they made everything worse. That's what they voted for." .
Another deputy who spoke in the same vein was Álvaro de Lamadrid, also from PRO.
"Guzmán said that he was going to make a mistake.
The budget is a mistake.
Presented in a hurry, improvised, it does not reflect reality or the fiscal, monetary and inflationary policy," said the legislator for the City of Buenos Aires.

In some interventions, Lamadrid alluded to the letter that Cristina Kirchner published a few days ago, in which she asked to end bimonetarism and denounced that there are "officials who do not work."
"The problem is not the dollar, it is the Fernandezes. Nobody believes them," said the deputy.
Later, he deepened: "The
problem in Argentina is the vice president
."
And seconds later, he asked Alberto Fernández: "I tell the President that growing up is painful but necessary. Let him take off the ballast, take the presidency,
stop being a testimonial president
. What if he has to lie to him , to lie to Cristina, but to stop lying to the people. "
