France today recorded more than 47,000 new infections with the emerging coronavirus.
Reuters quoted the French Ministry of Health as saying in a statement that 47,637 new infections and 235 virus deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The death toll from the virus in France has increased since the outbreak of the epidemic to 36020 cases, while the number of infected people has risen to one million 282769 cases.
