Italy, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and Serbia have been removed from the list of green countries starting next week, the Ministry of Health said tonight (Thursday).

These countries will turn red from next Sunday, November 8, in light of their morbidity levels.

Due to this, passengers arriving from these countries, as from the other red countries, will be charged 14 days of isolation.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health announced that Vietnam will be added to the list of green countries as early as next Sunday, and those returning from it will not be required in isolation.

This is in addition to the previously approved list, which includes Iceland, Estonia, the Seychelles, Denmark, Hong Kong, Greece, New Zealand, Finland, Canada, Cyprus, Rwanda, Australia, Uruguay, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Norway, Singapore, Cuba and Thailand.

The Ministry of Health also announced that in light of global morbidity trends, it was decided to hold the next list of green countries on November 9, a day after the current changes take effect.

At the end of the second closure, Ben Gurion Airport returned to regular activity, and citizens can fly abroad in accordance with the red and green area policy.

The Economics Committee approved the regulations that abolish the restrictions on departure from Israel, and even revoked the authority of the Airports Authority to check the flight tickets and circumstances of departure of passengers abroad.
