The road to the White House passes through Florida.

Everyone already knows the slogan that is repeated in every presidential election campaign: Florida, Florida, Florida.

Bill Clinton, George W. Bush.

Bush and Barack Obama - they all won in Florida when they ran for a second term.

Trump hopes he will not break that continuum.

He has a numerical reason to believe that Florida will not break with tradition: Republicans have built a formidable array of voter registration in the voter register, and are also at a strategic advantage because of the support of the important Cuban-American community in the state.

However, this year the corona is devouring the cards.

The American president finds himself on the defensive in any country he wants to win, even one that is supposed to be "in his pocket."

He does not give up and attacks the media, which he claims is mobilizing to oust him and ignores the alleged corruption of the Biden family - because of his conduct as president in the Corona crisis.

But yesterday, as if from heaven, particularly positive data were released on the US economy: the growth rate reached 33% in the last quarter, despite the epidemic.

If there is anything that can save a president it is a booming economy, and especially the feeling that America is in the right direction.

The "right direction index" is a super important index, and Trump is expected to mention these figures over and over until November 3rd.

This is to make this index positive in the minds of all voters.

Florida, this fascinating state, is a microcosm of America, with all the political passions and all the intergenerational, class, ideological and racial nuances that can be found.

That’s why Trump and Joe Biden ran their campaign there yesterday: they both held rallies in Tampa, on the western canopy of Sunlight State.

The president held a huge rally last night, and the other organized a drive-in rally tonight.

The one who introduced Trump at his rally is his wife Melania, who usually does not speak at events of this kind.

When Trump arrived at the podium, the two hugged long and kissed.

She reminded the audience that his government "not only talked about moving the embassy to Jerusalem, he also did it."

Trump miraculously praised economic success under his presidency.

"The growth is the most massive we've seen since the 1950s," he boasted.

In the economic data published yesterday.

"This is the most tremendous thing that has happened to our economy in decades and no one is talking about it."

Biden predicts a decision

At the same time, his opponent, Joe Biden, held his own rally in the city of Coconut Creek even before he arrived in Tampa at Israel time.

He predicted to the people who came in their car to his drive-in that "if Florida is blue, it will decide the election, it will be the end of the game."

Later, after the issue closed, Biden was scheduled to hold another election event in the state, also in the city of Tampa - hours after Trump was there.

This year the campaigns included the inclusion of the slogan "Florida, Florida, Florida" to "Florida, Pennsylvania, Florida." No one seems to know which state is more important: What's Corona? Or the other, which gives 20 electors to the winner, which was a blue state for about 30 years until Trump "stole" it in 2016.

Focusing on Pennsylvania may lead to victory in critical Midwestern states as well, such as Michigan and Wisconsin, but on the other hand it is easier to campaign in Florida.

This is a difficult dilemma.

About 80 million people have already voted in the early U.S. vote, of which about 8 million are in Florida.

This is not surprising, because the Elephant Party tends to vote more ahead of Election Day and the day itself.

It should be remembered that Florida is very diverse, and the usual distribution of voters does not always catch on.

For example in the Hispanic community (or rather Latino), Cubans are dominant and they tend to be Republicans.

That's why Democrats are putting their trust in other Latino voices that will balance them, especially Puerto Ricans living in Florida.

"People are tired"

Among young blacks, too, Biden has a problem with his enthusiasm for him, so his deputy Kamala Harris, whose father is black, will arrive this weekend to launch a campaign and is expected to bring Indians-Americans to the polls as well.

Biden is in a problematic position with the Hispanics, but he can perhaps take comfort in the fact that according to the polls, retirees are no longer in Trump's pocket as they were four years ago - because of the Corona.

As with any election, the "home" influx is likely to occur in the coming days.

And of course, the Jews must not be forgotten.

Although the vast majority of them are expected to vote for Biden, older Jewish voters are supposed to flock to the polls en masse, and they are considered Trump supporters because of everything he has done for Israel.

The Palm Beach Post reported that polls may not pay attention to Jewish-Democratic retirees who have been on the side in the past four years because of the progressive current taking over their party.

"The Jewish community of retirees has seen what has happened in recent years and the erosion in the support of the Democratic Party in Israel," said a Jewish retiree named Andre Fadel, who is considered one of the leaders of the communities there.

"Trump has so far been exceptional when it comes to Israel. People are tired of both parties," he teased.

If there is a significant advantage for one of the parties on election night in Florida, it will be possible to announce its electors as early as 9:00 AM Eastern time. In almost all cases the carrier has no meaning, because the advantage lies in the area of statistical error.

So, even this year, "Florida, Florida, Florida" is mostly one big question mark - double three.
