From our special correspondent in Georgia
Throughout his youth, Edward Muldrow grew up in the
"liberal environment"
of Miami, Florida, a city long run by Democrats.
“Daily life there was catastrophic for the underprivileged African-American community: the failing schools, the high level of crime, drugs.
I could see it was not working.
I wanted to give my children a different life.
I made a very simple choice.
Don't be like my parents.
Go to a republican state, because I had noticed that things were better managed there, different.
I was a single father, with two young boys.
I wanted them to receive a normal education.
I have deliberately chosen a conservative environment ”,
tells this former sergeant of the Air Force, who spent twenty years in the army, including two periods in foreign operations in Iraq, before going into civilian life.
