Yesterday, an aid convoy arrived in Tartous Governorate, provided by the people of the occupied Syrian Golan and from the people of Damascus, to the people affected by the fires that broke out recently.

Attorney Rasha al-Hallah, who supervises the aid campaign provided by our people in the occupied Syrian Golan in Damascus, explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent in Quneitra that the aid includes food baskets and clothes in addition to sterilization materials, and it is an expression of the solidarity of our people in the occupied Golan with their families back home, especially in the governorates that have been affected by the act. The fires and an affirmation of the social values ​​that bind the Syrian people in all circumstances, noting that the convoy was delivered in cooperation with the volunteer team in the Sa`ed Association in Damascus.

For his part, Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Damascus, Mahmoud Al-Damrani, said in a press statement that the convoy includes about 12 tons of foodstuffs and three tons of clothes and sterilization materials, part of which was presented by our people in the occupied Syrian Golan as an expression of their belonging to their motherland Syria and their stance with their countrymen and the other part submitted by A number of NGOs and the people of Damascus aim to support those affected by the people of Tartous due to the recent fires.

For his part, Mustafa Abbasi of the Societies Response Team at the Social Affairs Directorate in Damascus confirmed that this gift is offered by our people in the occupied Syrian Golan and from the people of Damascus, and it is a sign of the wound and an affirmation of the Syrian people standing together to reinforce the Syrian identity of the people of the occupied Golan and their participation in everything that is happening inside the homeland.

For his part, Issam Habbal, Chairman of the Saed Association in Damascus, indicated that a volunteer team from several associations accompanied the convoy from Damascus to fully equip the food baskets and present them to those affected.
