The wax museum in the German capital Berlin disposed of the statue of US President Donald Trump, in a move that appeared to be intended to predict the outcome of the US presidential election next Tuesday.
Reuters quoted the director of marketing at the museum, known as Madame Tussauds, as saying, "Today's event has a symbolic nature before the elections in the United States ... We removed the wax figure of Donald Trump as a preparatory measure."
And in what appeared to be another intended insult, the statue of Trump's predecessor, former US President Barack Obama, was preserved.
It is noteworthy that the US presidential elections will take place on the 3rd of next month, when Trump is running with former Vice President Joe Biden from the Democratic Party.
