Italy recorded 31,084 new infections with the emerging coronavirus, in the highest daily toll since the start of the virus outbreak in the country.
In its latest statistics, the Italian Ministry of Health stated that the total number of injuries in the country reached 647,674, while the total deaths in the country reached 38,321 after 199 new deaths were recorded.
In recent weeks, Italy has been facing unprecedented increases in daily infections with the Coronavirus, although the death index is still limited.
