corona numbers
again.
But are Germans ready to have large areas of their lives cut back again?

Starting next Monday,
restaurants
,
cinemas
and
leisure facilities
in Germany will lock their doors for four weeks.
Visits to relatives
should be postponed until December.
And
meetings
in public spaces are only possible with a maximum of ten people.
These are just a few corona rules that will apply across Germany from November 2nd.
For 50 percent of the
1,014
people surveyed
by
Forsa
, that's a good thing.
Only a third of those surveyed go
too far
with the
lockdown measures
.
For 16 percent of Germans, the shutdown could even be tightened to prevent the coronavirus * from spreading.
Many young people will have to forego social contacts and various leisure activities in the coming weeks.
It is therefore hardly surprising that approval for the
lockdown
is highest among retirees at 69 percent.
Among the party supporters, the
Social Democrats
are right at the front.
71 percent of the
SPD supporters
welcome the measures.
In the case of the
Union
, it's 65 percent.
The
Green supporters
come to 62 percent.

Corona survey on lockdown: Enjoy freedom again at the weekend
Because of the
corona lockdown
, many companies have to close partially or completely.
However, there are differences among the respondents as to which areas are more important to them.
65 percent of Germans can do without
sports facilities
.
At
cultural institutions
, the acceptance is no longer quite as high.
Only 55 percent are here for a closure.
Only 39 percent of respondents like the
fact that
restaurants
have to lock their doors to guests.
However, there is still a
weekend without a
lockdown
between the decision on the measures on Wednesday (October 28) and the entry into force on Monday
.
For a third of Germans, this means that they want to visit the affected facilities again.
It remains to be seen whether this is
beneficial to
the
infection process
.
