Whether alone, two or three, or even more if you feel like wearing a chronograph or an elegant complication, the hands are the soul of time.
They are also part of the successful design of a watch, to such an extent that the best-known are inseparable from the timepieces of which they beat the measure.
They say the devil is in the details, so is watchmaking paradise.
Impossible to list them all, but even to spell out their name amounts to going back in time: they are said to be dauphines, when they present a tapered triangle;
sticks when they play it sober, as at Hermès;
leaves when they recall one;
cathedrals when their shape evokes that of a stained glass window;
