In Mexico, the Propuesta Cívica association launched this Thursday a video that virtually recreates the image of journalist Javier Valdez, murdered on May 15, 2017 in Culiacán, Sinaloa, and made him the protagonist of a message to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador .
The association's director told CNN that the journalist's image was created using a Russian animation technique.
