For space missions planned for Mars, SpaceX considers itself exempt from international or other laws on the Red Star, according to the Starlink app's terms of service document related to SpaceX's satellite internet project.

Under the Government Laws section it is stated that the Company will operate in accordance with the laws of the State of California in the fields of the Earth and the Moon but not beyond that.

In the Journey to Mars and the planet itself "the parties recognize Mars as a free star and that governments from Earth do not have the authority or sovereignty over activities on Mars.

The technology developer, Alon Musk, the founder of SpaceX, recently announced his intention to establish an array of satellites around Mars as well and to build on Mars a city that sustains itself and will not be dependent on Earth for its existence.

Musk explained to SEO that the inhabitants of Mars will have to be dependent on themselves against the background of the fear that the connection with the Earth will be terminated under one circumstance or another.

He said, "It could really amount to 'Are we going to create a city that holds its own on Mars before or after World War III?'

According to the current schedule, the first mission to Mars is expected to take off in about four years with a key component in this project being a starship launcher.

Musk's grandiose plan includes settling about a million inhabitants on Mars via three daily flights, a thousand a year, with about 100 space migrants on each spacecraft.

Alongside the big vision Musk recently said: "I want to emphasize, this is a very difficult and dangerous thing."
