In an interview of nearly an hour given to Al Jazeera, Emmanuel Macron defends the French model.
The interview is due to air this Saturday at 5 p.m. on the Qatari channel.
After the many demonstrations in Muslim countries that occurred after the support for the cartoons of the French president during his speech in tribute to Samuel Paty, the head of state is trying to respond and calm tensions.
“I understand that one can be shocked by cartoons, but I will never accept that one can justify violence.
