Corona - Daily Update: 674 were diagnosed in the last day, an increase in the percentage of positives

The Ministry of Health updated today (Saturday) that 674 people have been diagnosed in Corona in the past day.
This increased the number of verified infections in Israel to 314,367.
Yesterday, results were obtained for 32,615 tests, with the percentage of positive for the virus being 2.1%.
The test data and their results are not final and may change in subsequent updates from the Ministry of Health.
The number of active patients is 10,684.
The hospitals hospitalize 699 patients, of whom 182 are respirators and 419 are seriously ill.
As of today, 2,523 people have died from the corona virus in Israel.

These figures come after the Ministry of Health yesterday updated that 5,018 people were diagnosed in Corona last week.
The figure is about 31% lower than the week before, when 7,283 people were diagnosed with the virus.
Also, 192 people died this week - a figure almost identical to last week's, and the total death toll from the virus stands at 2,511.
The Corona Cabinet last Thursday approved the six-step plan to exit the quarantine, but decided to postpone the opening of commerce and street shops until next Sunday.
This, after earlier yesterday the ministers approved the outline of returning to school for first-fourth grades.
The stores will be opened in accordance with the morbidity data, so that a reduction to a weekly average of 500 infected per day or less will allow it to be brought forward.
