Who's going back to school this morning?

First- and fourth-grade students only.

They join special education students and students at risk, who were exempted from the regulations as early as New Year's Eve.

How will the learning be done?

First- and fourth-grade students will study at least four days a week in grades and another school day in distance learning.

In some local authorities, five days of schooling may be taught - depending on ability.

How will students learn on days when they will not be coming to school?

In cases where the class learns four days a week, on Thursday there will be learning from home, including distance learning for the purpose of social gatherings, practice, enrichment and relief, it is recommended to do this in small groups.

Distance learning will include online lessons, each lesson up to 20 minutes, and additional offline lessons.

Each day there will be a day opening and closing day, with both groups.

How many students will be in the group?

Grades 1-2 will study in regular and separate groups of up to half the number of students in the original class.

In an original class where the number of students does not exceed 20, the whole class will be considered as a fixed and separate group.

Grades 3-4 will teach in regular groups of up to 20 students per class.

What will learning focus on?

Teachers were called upon to plan the learning time so that its main focus would be on the core areas, in accordance with the age and knowledge of the students.

In first and second grades, learning in the field of language must be focused on - devoting considerable teaching time every day to establishing the students' reading and writing processes, in order to complete the process of acquiring reading by the end of the school year.

In third-fourth grades, most of the learning time will be devoted to the areas of language and mathematics.

In the fourth grade, the fields of science and English will also be added.

When will the fifth-twelfth grade students return to school?

There is currently no known date, the decision on the return of the additional age groups will be made by the Ministry of Health and the Israeli government in accordance with the morbidity test in the country.

Who must wear a mask?

Under the new procedures, all students in grades one through four must wear a mask during classes and breaks.

How many groups will each teacher be able to teach?

A teacher will be able to teach up to three groups of students.

Will the afternoons work?

Yes, afternoons will operate, but with limitations.

Kindergarten children or first- and second-graders who attend the daycare will be in the same organic class they were in during school hours.

If a daycare group includes children from different groups, it will be limited to three organic morning groups from the same age group at most, provided that it does not include more than 28 students.

How will the students' transportation be conducted?

The students sat in fixed pairs and in fixed places, and students living in the same locality sat next to each other as much as possible.

Do not sit in the row of seats behind the driver or next to the driver.

Also, a separation will be made in the center of the bus by leaving an empty row of seats between the front and the back of the bus.

All passengers starting in first grade will wear masks, with the exception of the exemptions according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

Who will not be able to enter the schools?

External operators and anyone who is not an integral part of the school staff will not be allowed to enter the school, except in special cases and emergencies.

Parents are also not allowed to enter an educational institution.
