Donald Trump, US President

"Suburban women, would you like me, please?"

"I stand for law and order. I guarantee your safety."

"I got rid of the rules that brought crime to the suburbs."

Sarah Becker, Republican

"We're fine, Donald. We don't need you. Your message isn't getting through here. We're not afraid. We're fine."

The race for the White House will be decided in the suburbs - by voters like Sarah Becker.

The 35-year-old is a housewife, mother of three, and has always voted Republican until 2016.

But Trump does not get her vote.

 Sarah Becker

"The attitude of the Republicans is so poisoned, so bad, that I'm not sure I want to be part of it anymore. And the fact that this party made Trump great makes it almost impossible for me. If Trump wins again, then I don't want to be a Republican anymore. Then I'll distance myself from the party and quit. I don't want to be part of something that makes that possible. "

The fact that voters like Becker are so clearly turning away from Trump should worry the president.

Because he depends on the support of women in the suburbs.

 Donald Trump, US President

"They say women don't like Trump, but I think they do."

In 2016, almost every second white voter voted for Trump.

In the meantime, he is 23 percentage points behind Biden in the polls of white suburban women: The women who helped Trump into office four years ago could now take it from him again.

Sarah Becker grew up in a conservative family and even worked as an advisor in the White House under President George W. Bush.

Now she is fighting to make the Republicans lose the election.

The 35-year-old has joined the "Republicans against Trump" initiative.

She was so outraged by the president's handling of the corona pandemic that she recorded and published a video for the organization.

Campaign video

"He lied to us about testing and caused confusion. And he kept repeating the wrong information."

Sarah Becker

"Should you really have a campaign event with thousands of people standing tightly together like sardines? Probably not. Should you deny the effectiveness of masks and call your health advisors idiots? No. I wish you could have a little intelligence at times recognize him. But in the next breath he breaks everything again with his idiotic, insensitive statements. I'm sorry. I hate this man. "

In 2016 Becker wrote "Never Trump" on her ballot, making it invalid.

Not enough to prevent Trump.

This time, she wants to make sure he loses - and voted for Joe Biden by postal vote.

Sarah Becker

"He's not that insulting. He doesn't take extreme positions. I always say: It's something like a reset button to clean up, forget Trump so we can all come back with better candidates."

A fresh start for America - whether that will succeed will also be decided in Swing State Pennsylvania.

In 2016, Trump won here by just 44,000 votes.
