Intensive training is being conducted by the players of the Romanian national wrestling team in their closed camp hosted by Homs, in preparation for the Asian and World Championships, which will be held in China next year.
The coach of the national team, Nawzat Al-Saleh, said in his statement to SANA sports correspondent: After the suspension of sports activities due to the restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic, the Game Federation worked to revitalize the game and activate it by intensifying the camps that roam the governorates, where it set up a closed camp in Latakia for a period of fifteen days and currently in Homs, and through them will be Selecting a number of players from the teams of these two provinces to invite them to the camp, which will be held in Damascus later.
Al-Saleh pointed out that these camps provide opportunities for friction, raising the fitness of players and thus developing their skills, as it brings together the national team players with the players of the provinces, whom Corona has imposed on them to move away from the atmosphere of tournaments and competitions, noting the high levels and skills possessed by Homs players.
Players Muhammad Fawaz and Ahmed Al-Nakdali pointed out the importance of the experience gained during these camps, especially with the presence of the Belarusian coach Alexander Dobrovsky, and the role of the game association in overcoming the difficulties encountered by the players to enable them to develop their skills.
The technical and training staff of the team consists of Ghassan Al-Balah as a technical director, Raja Al-Karad as an administrator, Alexander Berfsky as a coach, and national coaches Nawzat Saleh, Firas Al-Rifai and Basem Shteiwi.
