The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has officially announced this evening (Saturday) that the country will enter a one-month closure from next Thursday (November 5) until December 2.
However, schools and universities will remain open.
"It's time to take action," Johnson announced at a special news conference.
This is the second closure Britain has entered and it is joining other European countries that have decided on stricter restrictions due to the spike in morbidity.
Restaurants and pubs will be closed all over the country. However, the delivery and takeaway services will remain active. Non-essential shops, as well as leisure and entertainment facilities will remain closed. Meetings of people from different homes are prohibited.
