The FEHD and the police can also take enforcement actions against those who fail to wear masks in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Diseases (Wearing Masks) Regulations (Chapter 599I). Offenders can be fined up to the second level ($5,000) or A fixed penalty notice (2,000 yuan) was issued.

Violation of the "Prevention and Control of Diseases (Prohibition of Group Gathering) Regulations" (Chapter 599G) regarding crowd gathering requirements may be subject to a fixed fine of $2,000.
