The famous Scottish actor Sean Connery died the first to portray on the big screen the role of the secret agent James Bond, which he presented in seven films at the age of 90 years.
The BBC reported that Connery died while in the Bahamas and had been ill for some time.
Connery's acting career spanned decades and his numerous awards included an Oscar, two BAFTAs and three Golden Globe Awards.
His career included many famous films, while Queen Elizabeth II of Britain awarded him a knighthood in 2000, and last August, to celebrate his 90th birthday.
