A fire broke out today in a forest of different trees in Kesrouan, in the northeast of Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency stated that the firefighting teams of the Lebanese Civil Defense managed, after painstaking efforts over hours, to extinguish the fire, which devastated large areas of trees near the towns of Jouret Al-Termos and the Dahab River.
A second fire also broke out in the locality of Rehana Berri in Hasbaya district in the western Bekaa. The fire destroyed a wide area of grass and trees, and civil defense personnel intervened to put out the fire in cooperation with the people.
