Today, the Security Media Cell in Iraq announced that a military plane crashed due to a technical failure in Salah al-Din Governorate, in the center of the country.
The cell said in a statement, "During its normal duties, a technical malfunction occurred in a training aircraft of the" Tank Caravan 172 ", which led to its burning and fall in the Sayed area of Balad district of Salah al-Din governorate.
The cell added that "the accident led to the martyrdom of the pilot, who was in the rank of lieutenant colonel and his assistant, who was at the rank of captain."
