Brazil recorded 407 deaths and 18,947 new infections with the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health stated in a statement that the total number of cases registered with the virus in the country so far has reached more than 5.5 million infections and about 160,000 deaths.
In Mexico, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 464 deaths and 6151 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number in the country to 91,753 deaths and 924,962 infections.
In Germany, the data of the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed today that the number of new confirmed cases of Coronavirus increased by 14,177 cases to 532,930 in total, in addition to the registration of 29 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 10481 cases.
In China, the National Health Committee announced today that 24 new cases were recorded on the mainland yesterday, down from 33 the previous day, adding that 21 of the new cases were coming from abroad.
This brought the total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland to 85,997, while the number of deaths remained unchanged at 4,634 cases.
