The gruesome incident took its course at the kitchen table: During an argument on Saturday, the young man is said to
have thrown
a
pot of hot soup
at his
partner
and
her father
.
The common
child in infancy also
suffered slight scalds.
Before the police arrived, the 29-year-old stabbed his father-in-law several times with a knife and finally fled.
The 55-year-old is now out of danger, the police said on Sunday.
After a few hours the
alleged perpetrators, however, are caught in a neighboring district.
The 29-year-old German was
remanded in custody
for
attempted manslaughter
and
dangerous bodily harm
.
