Today, a force from the Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate seized a cache of weapons for terrorists in the Al-Hilweh River region in Anbar Province, western Iraq.
Alsumaria News quoted the directorate as saying in a statement that “Military Intelligence in the Tenth Division and the Fourth Regiment of the Infantry Brigade managed to reach a cache containing a large amount of weapons in the Al-Hilweh River area in Al-Tharthar district in Anbar Governorate, and seized large numbers of anti-aircraft missiles, anti-armor missiles and shells. Mortars, missiles, portable launchers and stores of various equipment, ”he said, pointing out that the division engineering detachments had raised the materials and detonated them.
Iraqi forces continue their security operations to pursue and eliminate the remnants of "ISIS" terrorists in various Iraqi places.
