Palestinian report: The IDF destroyed the home of the terrorist who murdered Shai Ohayon
According to reports, the IDF entered the town where the terrorist Khalil Doikat lives, who killed Ohayon in a stabbing attack last August, and destroyed his house, about a week after the High Court rejected the terrorist's family's petition to prevent the demolition and approved the move.

The IDF destroyed the home of terrorist Khalil Doikat, 46, who killed Rabbi Shai Ohayon in a stabbing attack in Petah Tikva last August, Palestinian media reported Monday night. IDF forces reportedly entered the town of Rog. B, near Nablus, where the terrorist accused of killing Ohayon lived, and the building was demolished.
The demolition of Doikat's house comes after the High Court approved the move last week. The High Court rejected the petition filed by the family of the terrorist who murdered Shai Ohayon, thus authorizing the IDF to demolish his house. Justices Noam Solberg and Yael Wilner supported the rejection of the petition. Judge Menachem Mazuz, who believed that it should be accepted, but remained in the minority.

The prosecutor's office filed an indictment against Doikat last September, alleging aggravated murder and possession of a knife in the circumstances of an act of terrorism.
The indictment filed against Doikat covers the series of events from the moment he decided to murder an Israeli citizen, until the date of execution.
According to the indictment, Doikat, who worked as a construction worker at a construction site in Petah Tikva in accordance with a legal work permit, decided to stab a soldier or a Jewish citizen to death.
According to the prosecution, when the decision to carry out the attack on August 26 came to Duikat's heart, the terrorist took a knife that was in the kitchen of the construction site, put it in his pants pocket, and left the site.
After searching for a suitable victim and opportunity to carry out the attack plan for about an hour, the defendant noticed Rabbi Shai Ohayon at about 1:15 PM, who was walking in front of him at the Sgula junction.
He pulled the knife out of his pants pocket and stabbed him three times.
At this point, according to the indictment, a passerby noticed the occurrences.
He threw an object at Doikat in an attempt to help Ohayon get out of it.
Only then, the terrorist let Ohayon, who was already in a humane condition, return the blood-stained knife to his trouser pocket, and began to walk away, even considering the possibility of stabbing other Israelis in a similar manner.
Immediately afterwards, police forces arrived at the scene of the attack.
They managed to take control of Doikat on the spot and arrested him.
