The patrol wanted to check the man in his rental car, a Mercedes Vito, at around 1.05 a.m. on St.-Rochus-Strasse. But instead of stopping, he went full throttle, cutting corners and blind spots on his speeding trip - without paying attention to oncoming traffic. Finally, the officers managed to stop the vehicle. An alcohol test was positive with a high value above the limit of a criminal offense (1.1). The keys to the man's car and driver's license were secured. A blood sample followed.
