Are we going to keep a low profile, content ourselves with a few words for fear of provoking the enemy, of arousing the anger of the Arab-Muslim world, of displeasing the new Turkish sultan?

Samuel Paty was assassinated on October 16 by an Islamist after leaving college.

France was then revolted by the beheading of this professor, who died as a martyr of secularism and freedom of expression.

Seventeen days later, however, and an attack later in Nice, the organization of the tribute which will be paid to him in the schools seems to plunge the power into embarrassment.

The memory of the heckles and insults that surrounded the tribute to the victims of the January 2015 attacks haunts people.

Here and there, voices are even raised to say that caricatures are only incitement to hatred.

Strange change of tone.

As if we needed to arm the terrorists to massacre us!

Should we repeat it?

Whatever the pretext, they would do it anyway.
