The observatory said that the tropical cyclone Swan was traversing the central part of the South China Sea.
According to current forecasts, the swan will move westward, passing about 800 kilometers south of Hong Kong this morning, which poses little direct threat to Hong Kong. In addition, tropical cyclone Isani will linger in the waters east of the Philippines today and tomorrow. There is an opportunity to move to the Luzon Strait and into the northern part of the South China Sea, but the path and intensity are still variable.
The Observatory will closely monitor Ai Shani's movements.
