Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi, a member of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Shura Council, condemned the ban imposed by the United States on eight Iranian companies recently, considering that it carries a propaganda character regarding the presidential elections.

Fars News Agency quoted Jahan Abadi as saying in a press statement today, "America feels that it is missing any trump card on Iran during the electoral climate as economic pressures have not resulted in achieving its goals aimed at causing a political and economic collapse in the country."
Jahanabadi pointed out that all of America's plans failed despite all the embargoes, as Tehran did not intend to enter into negotiations with Washington, so it imposed a ban on Iranian companies recently.
