Two wild boar heads were found Monday on the site of the future headquarters of a Franco-Turkish association in Compiègne (Oise) which filed a complaint, we learned from police and associative sources.

", announced that it had filed a complaint for "
intrusion into private property

Islamophobic act
".

We are in France, we are French
”, declared the president of the association, Youssef Tuzcu.

It's been 35 years since the first Turks arrived in Compiègne, there has never been a problem,

very good links with the population, including with the Armenian community

There will always be provocateurs, but we want to send a message of peace.

Contacted several times, the Compiègne public prosecutor's office did not follow up.
Founded in 1987, the Franco-Turkish association of Compiègne, which has around 700 members, offers cultural and religious activities, including language courses, theater and workshops for children.

This incident comes against a backdrop of diplomatic tensions between France and Turkey, against a backdrop of controversies over the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, and tensions in France between Turkish ultra-nationalists and the Armenian diaspora since the return of the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh, where heavy fighting is taking place with Azerbaijani forces.
