East Asia is winning the battle against the coronavirus.

The number of deaths in South Korea, Japan or Taiwan since the pandemic began is below the number of daily deaths that we now register in Europe.

Bars, restaurants and shops in Seoul, Taipei or Tokyo are still open normally.

And there is no lockdown in sight in any country in the region.
