The Texas Republican Party believed that the practice of
drive-through
advance polls
, where the voter deposits his ballot without leaving his car, was illegal because there was already the possibility of depositing the ballots in a dedicated mailbox.

added Joe Biden's campaign team.
The Texas Supreme Court had already dismissed a similar appeal on Sunday and other legal actions are pending in several American states.
