The Yemeni army and the popular committees announced today the arrest of 72 terrorists from Al-Qaeda organization and mercenaries of the Saudi aggression in Al-Bayda governorate, southeast of the capital, Sana'a.
Al Masirah Net quoted a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior as saying, "The army and the popular committees arrested nine members of the terrorist al-Qaeda organization and 63 criminal elements of the Saudi aggression in Al-Bayda governorate during the fourth week of last month."
The source pointed out that "32 explosive devices planted by Al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorist operatives were seized and neutralized in the Quraysh district of the aforementioned governorate."
The leader of the terrorist organization ISIS in Yemen was killed and a number of leaders of the criminal organization during a military security operation in the Qifah area of Al-Bayda governorate in late August.
