A boy tried to slip today (Tuesday) on the gutter of a building in Jerusalem and fell from a three-story height.

Following this, he was taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in critical condition.

The police officers who arrived in the Ramot neighborhood of the city began investigating the incident.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the 16-year-old boy tried to slip on the outside gutter of a synagogue.

While sliding, the gutter fell apart and the boy fell and hit hard with an air conditioner compressor that was hanging on the building wall.

Following the injury, the connection of the air conditioner to the wall was also broken and the unit fell with the boy.

MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene provided medical care to the boy and evacuated him to the hospital with a head injury.

MDA paramedic Shlomi Levy said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the wounded man lying next to the building, unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury.

We immediately started giving him advanced and life-saving medical care that included bandages, fixations, hemostasis and anesthesia.

We put him in the intensive care unit and took him to the hospital when he was in "stable condition."

The boy is currently being treated in the trauma unit of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

Upon arrival he was put to sleep and respirated.
