He was the last vice mayor in the independent Puch and a co-founder of the community center.

As a local spokesman and in the clubs, Franz Bauer helped shape life in the Bruck district.

Puch

- With his knowledge and commitment, he will be remembered by the Puchers.

Because a few weeks ago he died at the age of 72.

The administrative specialist found his professional place in the Bruck district administration.

In the authority, his commitment was to the social department.

Because Franz Bauer, who struggled with health himself all his life, had a heart for disabled people, reports companion Stephan Thiery.

And even after he left office at the age of 43, he campaigned for this group of people with advisory publications.

From 1972 to 1990, Bauer also acted as personal advisor to the then District Administrator Gottfried Grimm.

In Puch, Franz Bauer took care of the public affairs of his village.

In the local elections in 1972 he was elected to the local council at the age of just 24 and was subsequently deputy to the mayor Bernhard Braumiller.

As such, he helped shape the transition from the town to the town of Fürstenfeldbruck in 1978.

After that he was local spokesman for Puch for several years.

Above all, Franz Bauer was the driving force behind the fact that the community of Puch was able to get the Puch community center off the ground after the sale of its former schoolhouse and tough land negotiations with the state property administration and politicians.

The facility, without which the place would be inconceivable today, was built in 1977/78 with the extraordinary contribution of the Pucher.

The community center was mainly used for the clubs, which Bauer strongly supported, Thiery said.

So the thriving shooting society got good shooting conditions and a solid base like the Puch sports club.

Bauer founded the club in 1975 and provided play areas for him, from 1975 to 1979 he was also chairman of the rapidly growing SV Puch, which from the outset not only played football.

Bauer woke up the sleeping fruit and horticultural association Puch in 1984 as an association for horticulture and land maintenance - probably animated by Gottfried Grimm, who at the time had been the district chairman of the horticultural associations.

Franz Bauer also helped the rural youth community in Puch get off to a good start in 1990.

He was an honorary member of her as well as of the Edigna Association.

This club, which was also given space in the community center and was able to bring the Edigna game to the stage under improved conditions, belonged to his love as well as to the local blessed himself. He collected literature and information on Edigna and actively helped as the vice chairman of the club that the games could take place with their great response.

As a moving store of knowledge and a tireless documentary, Franz Bauer leaves clear traces for Puch.

Lately lived very withdrawn.
