Hurricane Eta continues to hit northern Nicaragua this Tuesday afternoon with
sustained winds of 140 miles per hour
(220 kilometers per hour), after it approached the Caribbean coast of this nation in the morning as a Category 4 storm.

the death of a 13-year-old girl in San Pedro Sula,
Honduras
, who died when a wall next to the bed where she was resting collapsed, according to her relatives.
In its last bulletin issued at 4:00 pm ET, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) indicated that Eta remains an "extremely dangerous hurricane" that can cause "catastrophic winds, flash floods and landslides. land ”in various areas of Central America.
