Which is more dangerous, the Koruna or Hezbollah?

The combination of the two together, of course.

Therefore, while in the past week the 162nd Division practiced multi-system maneuvering in enemy territory on the northern border, three of the military medical personnel who accompanied them also practiced combat on the Corona front - and joined the national task of managing and operating the military corona department at Rambam.

"In the last month," says Lt. Col. Dr. Gil Zehavi, the medical officer of the 162nd Division, "I was called to serve as deputy director of the 'IDF Crown' department at Rambam Hospital, where we established a glorious hospitalization department." Zahavi was required to combine ward management and medical care with patients, and preparation for a multi-system exercise - in which the medical response method for combat wounded was examined, while performing physical exercises in the field. "Our goal was to practice medical force in getting the wounded quickly and evacuated to the hospital as quickly as possible.

We learned a lot and we will learn more in order to get better for the day of command. "

"The load is heavy," he admits, "but I dedicate everything to myself out of a sense of mission and connection to the dual task."

The chief physician of the Golani Brigade, Captain Dr. Neta Bar-Ilan, also took part in the struggle on both fronts - and successfully completed the task. "Although I knew it would be challenging to perform both roles simultaneously," he tells Israel Today, "I was happy about The opportunity to take part in the national project. "

"It was one of the most challenging weeks we went through," admits Lt. Col. Aziz Ibrahim, head of the Combat Medicine Training Division at the Logistics Training Center, and rightly so. The corona at Rambam - to which he "jumped" to see that everything is running and working properly, as part of his role as "hospital director of nursing".

"At the top of the IDF's priorities," he reveals, "are two tasks these days: on the one hand to train and prepare the medical forces maneuvering for war and improve their professional and combat capability, and on the other hand to deal with the spread of the corona virus." And the children he has not really seen lately, he knows that the task is important and without the support and resilience provided by the home, "not one of these tasks can be performed with the required quality and professionalism."
