Sweida - Sana
In her second solo exhibition “Tahid Watan”, plastic artist Thanaa Al Nabawani translated human cases in a realistic manner that carried various meanings embodying her artistic spirit on the surface of her paintings.
The exhibition, which opened this evening in the exhibition hall of the Arab Cultural Center in the city of As-Suwayda, included 30 paintings of different sizes, some of them with oil on canvas and others with pencil on various topics, including a silent nature and others, a portrait that reflected the suffering of Syrians as a result of terrorism and displacement of Syrians, in addition to human cases. And children and women in general, as Al-Nabawani explained to the SANA reporter.
Al-Nabawani, whose talent drove her to enter the world of plastic art after reaching the third decade of her life, called for every woman to pay attention to her talent to express her personality beyond her circumstances, because drawing in her eyes is a message of art and beauty that she translates through her paintings to bring happiness to people's hearts through art that inspires hope for life and renewal.
Head of the Fine Artists Union branch in Sweden, the artist Hamad Azzam, saw that the exhibition was distinguished by the artist's own style, technology, spirituality and themes, which left a beautiful impression on the recipient, so she chose difficult realistic works that were successful in terms of artistic anatomy and artistic shots.
For his part, the plastic artist Nidal Khwais found that al-Nabawani is a confident artist. Her works are aesthetically pleasing and her colors are strong. She presents her paintings with great care. Based on the concept of contrast to the painting through the process of shadow and light.
It is noteworthy that the artist Thana Al-Nabawani was born in Sweida in 1978 and is a graduate of the College of Nursing and a member of the Fine Artists Union. She participated in a number of group exhibitions and has two individual exhibitions.
